Ham Radio

Amateur Radio has been my longest standing hobby. I attribute this to many good friends. As a youth I was fascinated by radio, but didn't know anyone who was involved with it. Many years later I decided to pursue the hobby and have had a great deal of fun with it. I was originally licensed in 1997 as KC7WRR. My first license was as a Technician Plus, meaning that I had passed the Morse Code element and had limited HF privileges.

I soon moved on to General, and in 2002 passed my Extra Class License. Among my many good friends, I'll mention a few. The first is my Elmer, Gordon Smith, K7HFV who has been more than patient in helping through me with my many projects. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Clint Turner, KA7OEI who has also been a great friend and most helpful.
